We know there is a strategic imperative to advance a health care delivery system that improves health and health care. In addition, our health care organizations are expected to be leaders in the community by having a healthy workforce. However, our work environments present unique challenges! Recognizing the power of collaboration, we are engaging our respective professional association members to gain each other's perspective in advancing this agenda. Working together to focus on nurses, the largest segment of our workforce, we can leverage this information to develop strategies that are specific to our practice environments.
